Transfer from Orly Airport at good price
Orly Airport is the international airport at fourteen kilometers distance from the south of Paris. It is situated in the Île-de-France region (Orly and Villeneuve-le-Roi communes, to be exact). Despite the fact that it is mainly used for the transportation inside the country, a lot of international flights are also offered: you can go to or come here from Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Moscow, London, Copenhagen and some other big cities.
Orly Airport was opened in 1932 (known just as Paris airport at that time). In 1950-s it replaced Paris Le Bourget Airport from the first place in the list of the most important airports in France. Nowadays, however, because of opening of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and prohibition of night flights, airport stopped to improve.
Plenty of ways to get to Paris from the airport exists. There is a good choice of ground transportation: buses number 183 and 285, two “Noctambus” buses per night, express-buses “Orlybus” (which are, however, more expensive than usual transport) and some touristic buses. Also you can use RER: “Aeroport d’Orly” station on the C line or “Antony” station on the B line (it is possible to get there using special “OrlyVAL” line). The problem is that public transport is crowded and not very convenient, so probably you should think about booking airport transfers.
And of course it is necessary to book a transfer if you are planning to go from Orly to another region of France, because it has no communication with Montparnasse, or Saint-Lazare, or Austerlitz — to say in short, with all variety of Paris railway stations.
