Chelyabinsk Airport is located 18 km from the center of Chelyabinsk. In 2011 it was the 22nd busiest airport in Russia by passenger traffic. The airport has one passenger terminal. It handles the flights of the following airlines: Nordwind Airlines, S7 Airlines, Aeroflot, Kuban Airlines,Orenburg Airlines, Rossiya, UTair, Ural Airlines, etc. Near the airport land side there is Cosmos Hotel. It takes on average about 40 minutes to get from the center of the city to Chelyabinsk Airport.
